Helping Dads Feed Their Families
The nation’s first Father’s Day was celebrated on June 19, 1910, in the state of Washington. However, it was not until 1972—58 years after President Woodrow Wilson made Mother’s Day official—that the day honoring fathers became a nationwide holiday in the United States. Father’s Day 2023 will occur on Sunday, June 18.
Western Eagle Foundation has a couple of fathers that we celebrate, from founding father Robert Sieja to Todd Sieja that carries on the purposeful work today.
Most importantly are the fathers that work at Western Eagle and the many Dads and Grandpa’s that shop here or pick up food boxes to help feed their families, their neighbors, Veterans, seniors and others needing help with food. Western Eagle thanks all Dads and Grandpa’s for always being there to lead and care for their families and communities.
